How do aligners work?
Aligners open up new opportunities to correct the bite and get a beautiful smile. Already when developing a treatment program, you will see what position the teeth will take after the last pair of aligners is applied.

The principle of operation of Dema Smile differs from the method of treatment with braces, and a smile in aligners looks completely natural.
How aligners
work
The entire path of tooth movement, outlined by the virtual treatment plan, is divided into many individual steps. For each of them, we make a separate mouthguard — the first mouthguard differs only by fractions of a millimeter from the initial position of the teeth, and the last one corresponds to the ideal position. The minimum number of steps is 5, the maximum is about 30.
The mouthguard gently and mildly moves the teeth, placing a slight pressure on them. The constant impact on the dentition provides the main effect of the treatment.
It takes about two weeks for the teeth to move into the position set by the mouthguard. When they take their place, it's time for the next pair of aligners.
Production of
Dema Smile aligners
First, the orthodontist uses an A-silicone mass to take an impression of the dentition or makes an intraoral 3D scan.
Then the data is transferred to the laboratory, and a computer model is developed on its basis. The orthodontist-technologist plans treatment, gradually changing the position of the teeth to bring it to the desired one. Each stage of the movement corresponds to a separate 3D model, according to which the mouthguard will be made.
After that, sets of aligners are printed according to individual 3D models. Ready-made sets of mouthguards are delivered to your doctor, who gives you enough products for 2-3 months of treatment, helps you to install the first mouthguard, and explains how to wear and care for your aligners.
